Abstract:
Provided by the present invention is a method for producing a porous silicone sheet, the method including: a freezing step of obtaining a frozen body by freezing a wet gel of a porous silicone body which has communicating pores and a three-dimensional mesh-like silicone skeleton that forms the pores and that is formed by copolymerizing a bifunctional alkoxysilane and a trifunctional alkoxysilane; a sheet-forming step of obtaining a porous silicone sheet by forming the frozen body into a sheet; and a cleaning step of cleaning the porous silicone sheet. According to this production method, it is possible to produce a porous silicon body from which impurities have been sufficiently removed. In addition, it is possible to effectively prevent the occurrence of wet gel rupture in this production process.
