Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a protective panel for an area of the human body, said method comprising steps of: defining a shape of a mould using 3-D object design software, the shape of the mould being defined in a digital file and including a plurality of cavities spread across a surface (21) of the mould, said mould being designed to form a support (11) which interconnects elements (UF) formed by the cavities; producing the mould as a single piece on the basis of the digital file; choosing a polymerizable liquid that forms a viscoelastic material after polymerization, depending on the desired properties; filling the mould with the chosen polymerizable liquid; and, after at least partial polymerization of the polymerizable liquid poured into the mould, ejecting the panel (1) by means of a mechanical action aimed at separating the polymerizable viscoelastic material from the mould by elastic deformation of the panel element having an undercut.
