Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing a pulp fiber for carboxylated cellulose nanofibrillation use, whereby it is possible to form a carboxylated cellulose nanofiber having an excellent balance between handling properties and physical properties.　A method for producing a pulp fiber for carboxylated cellulose nanofibrillation use, characterized by comprising a fiber formation step in which an ozone-containing gas is fed to a treatment solution having a wood pulp fiber immersed therein and having a pH value of 6.5 or less in such a manner that a CT value, which is a product of the concentration of ozone in the ozone-containing gas and the time for the treatment, can become more than 6,000 ppm・min to form the pulp fiber for carboxylated cellulose nanofibrillation use from the wood pulp fiber.
