The present invention provides: a method for producing a quick genetically-modified rice plant comprising the steps of: (a) soaking mature rice seeds, from which the seed coat has been removed, for between 24 and 48 hours in a liquid culture medium; (b) carrying out co-culturing and genetic modification, for between 5 and 10 days in a co-culturing culture medium, of the soaked seeds together with Agrobacterium tumefaciens containing a plant expression vector into which a foreign gene has been inserted; and (c) inducing calluses by culturing the co-cultured plant cells for between 5 and 10 days in a callus-inducing culture medium; a genetically-modified rice plant produced by means of the method; and seeds thereof.
