Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a recombinant protein by bacteria of the genus Brevibacillus that can be scaled up to an industrial scale and makes it possible to improve the levels of secretion and production of recombinant protein and to prepare recombinant protein more inexpensively. The present invention provides a method for producing a recombinant protein, including a step for culturing bacteria of the genus Brevibacillus having a gene encoding the recombinant protein under weakly alkaline conditions from the early part of the logarithmic growth phase of the bacteria of the genus Brevibacillus.
