Abstract:
The present invention enhances the detection accuracy of a remaining fuel detection device. The remaining fuel detection device comprises a body, an arm that is supported so as to be capable of rotating around the body, a float connected to the arm, an angle sensor for outputting first data according to the relative angle between the body and arm, a storage circuit for storing conversion data listing second data values corresponding to first data values, and a data conversion circuit for receiving the first data from the angle sensor and converting the received first data into second data on the basis of the conversion data. This method for producing a remaining fuel detection device comprises a conversion data creation step for creating conversion data by, for each of at least three prescribed angles, measuring a value of the first data output by the angle sensor in a state where the relative angle has been set to the prescribed angle and storing, as a second data value, a value corresponding to the prescribed angle in the storage circuit so as to correspond to the measured first data value.
