Description:
A METHOD FOR PRODUCING ROPES USED IN NET OR ROPE CLIMBING

GAME GROUPS

The Related Art

The invention relates to a method of producing ropes used in net or rope climbing game groups, via induction technique.

The invention particularly relates to a method of increasing the robustness of strings braided on the ropes used in net or rope climbing game groups by using an induction technique in order to extend the lives thereof. The Prior Art

Nowadays, climbing game tracks are available for children and for young people and adults. Some of these game tracks are climbing tracks designed as a net. Other ones are climbing groups comprising ropes and similar structures that are suitable for gripping by the hand. There are also game tracks which include both basic game tracks or have different designs while maintaining the fundamental characteristics. However, their common characteristic is that they allow people to try to grasp the rope or net tightly and play or do exercise with an experience close to the natural environment. One of the main characteristics of these game tracks is that the hand-gripped rope or net is rigid in tension.

The product range called net climbing game groups are structures forming game areas/tracks for certain age groups by creating volumes in different forms using ropes. It is a product range allowing children to improve their muscle coordination abilities that they are required to gain during adolescence by means of a structure formed using ropes and knots at certain coordi nates and using metal, wood, plastic etc. carrier elements. In the known status of the art, if nylon, polypropylene, polyester etc. derivative strings are directly braided over steel wire, or chemical adhesive is used, when the product is put into use, the braid on the steel wire opens, deteriorates, gets worn out as a result of twisting, pulling, pressing etc. uses and thus the expected life of the product range is reduced.

In the literature, in the patent application No. TR 2015/14705 registered to the Turkish Patent Institute, it is disclosed that "The invention is a structure comprising at least one first stretching body and at least one second stretching body, a stretching casing passing through the first stretching body and the second stretching body and connecting thereof with each other, a stretching turnable embedded within said stretching casing, and a ring holder embedded within said stretching turnable via a screw and carrying the ropes." Undesirable conditions such as opening, deteriorating, wearing out etc. are encountered in time in the braided strings used in the said application.

Description of the Invention From the known status of the art, the purpose of the invention is to provide a rope method which eliminates the prior art drawbacks.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a production method that extends the life of the braided strings found over the ropes used in net climbing game groups.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a production method preventing problems such as opening, deterioration, wearing out etc. of the braid found on the steel wire of the ropes used in net climbing game groups as a result of twisting, pulling, pressing etc. uses. Another purpose of the invention is to provide a structure which increases the strength of the strings braided thereon.

Induction Machine Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention is a method of increasing the strength of ropes (2) used in net or rope climbing game groups (1 ) against unwinding and stripping, by using induction technique during production, and it is characterized in that; it comprises the operation steps of: forming a braided rope (2.1 ) by braiding the outer surfaces of more than one conductive wires (2.3) with a petrol-derivative material, forming a rope (2) by winding said more than one braided ropes (2.1 ) over at least one core rope (2.2), heating said conductive wire (2.3) via current by inserting said rope (2) into an induction machine (3), the petrol-derivative material wound around the conductive wire (2.3) that is exposed to heat melts down and thus fuses with the conductive wire (2.3) and an integral structure is formed. . Figure 1 shows a representative view of the net or rope climbing game group (1 ) according to the invention.

Figure 2 shows a representative view of the rope (2) production method for the net or rope climbing game groups (1 ) according to the invention.

In the present invention, a braided rope (2.1 ) is formed by braiding the outer surfaces of more than one conductive wires (2.3) with a petrol-derivative material. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said conductive wire (2.3) is made of steel. Thus, the conductive wire (2.3) can show resistance against high tensile and compressive forces.

Also, in different embodiments of the invention, said petrol-derivative material can be nylon or it can also be made of polypropylene, polyester etc. derivative materials. In this way, it is able to change shape by being melted by heat, and in case of burning, it has flame holder characteristic.

Said more than one braided ropes (2.1 ) are wound around at least one core rope (2.2) so as to form a rope (2).

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said core rope (2.2) is made of steel, and its diameter is greater the diameter of said conductive wire (2.3). The rope (2) formed by winding the plurality of braided ropes (2.1 ) around the core rope (2.2) is inserted into the induction machine (3).

Said conductor wire (2.3) is heated by current in said induction machine (3), and the petrol-derivative material wound around the conductive wire (2.3) that is exposed to heat melts down and thus fuses with the conductive wire (2.3) and an integral structure is formed. The petrol-derivative material cooled down to room temperature is positioned around said conductive wire (2.3) in a fused state.

In this way, said rope (2) becomes a durable structure against melting / unwind ing due to stripping or friction.

Significant resistance is formed against wearing out due to use compared to ropes produced without using said method.
