Abstract:
This method for producing a rubber composition is characterized by involving a mixing step for obtaining a mixture by mixing rubber particles which have an average particle diameter of 0.1-2.0 mm, fibrous carbon nanostructures and a poor solvent of said rubber particles, a dispersion step for obtaining a dispersion by dispersion-treating the mixture using a medialess high-speed shearing machine, and a dispersion medium removal step for removing the poor solvent of the rubber particles from the dispersion, wherein the poor solvent of the rubber particles is such that, when the rubber particles are immersed in at least five times as much of the poor solvent by mass and filtered with a 40 mesh sieve after 72 hours, the residual insoluble content is greater than or equal to 80 mass %.
