Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a scintillator plate wherein the luminance
is improved by increasing the luminous efficiency of light emission caused by
irradiation of radiation, while using CsI, which is excellent as a scintillator
material, as a base. Also disclosed is a scintillator plate produced by such
a method. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a scintillator plate
wherein a phosphor layer is formed on a substrate by deposition, which method
is characterized in that a thallium-activated phosphor layer is formed on the
substrate by deposition using CsI and a thallium-containing compound having
a melting point within ±70˚C of the melting point of CsI as raw materials.
