Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for producing a semi-IPN composite characterized by involving the polymerization of a hydrophilic monofunctional acrylate (b1) and a polyfunctional acrylate (b2) in a polyurethane (A) solvent having an aromatic polyisocyanate as a starting material thereof. In addition, the present invention pertains to a method for producing a moisture-permeable film characterized by being obtained by drying a semi-IPN composite obtained using the aforementioned production method. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a semi-IPN composite that exhibits excellent moisture permeability, water-swelling resistance, and antifouling properties. In fact, a semi-IPN composite obtained using this production method does exhibit excellent moisture permeability, water-swelling resistance, and antifouling properties. As a result, this semi-IPN composite is favorable for use as a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric for purposes related to clothing, medicine, hygiene or the like, and as a topcoat layer or surface layer of a synthetic leather.
