Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILVER PARTICLES, AND SILVER PARTICLES PRODUCED BY SAID METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/087967
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing silver particles, which comprises: a step for producing a silver-amine complex, which serves as a precursor, by mixing a silver compound having thermal decomposability and an amine compound; and a step for precipitating silver particles by heating the silver-amine complex at a heating temperature that is not less than the decomposition temperature of the silver-amine complex. In this method for producing silver particles, silver carbonate is used as the silver compound and an amine compound having a primary amino group at least at one end and containing a specific hydrocarbon group (R) having 4-10 carbon atoms is mixed, as the above-described amine compound, with the silver carbonate, thereby producing the silver-amine complex. This method is capable of controlling the particle diameters so as to have an average particle diameter within the range of 20-200 nm, and is thus able to produce silver particles having a uniform particle size.
