Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a single-layer phase difference film, the method comprising: (I) a step for applying, onto a substrate, a single-layer phase difference film-forming polymer composition containing a polymer having a photoreactive site that photoreacts with ultraviolet light in a side chain, and drying the polymer composition to form a coated film; (II) a first exposure step for irradiating the coated film with first polarized ultraviolet light; and (III) a second exposure step for further irradiating the same surface as a surface irradiated with the first polarized ultraviolet light of the coated film irradiated with the polarized ultraviolet light with second polarized ultraviolet light having a polarization axis direction different from that of the first polarized ultraviolet light.
