Abstract:

Disclosed are: a method for producing a slurry composition, wherein excellent dispersibility can be obtained by simple processes; and a slurry composition which is produced by the method for producing a slurry composition. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a slurry composition that contains an inorganic powder, a polyvinyl acetal resin and an organic solvent. The method for producing a slurry composition comprises: a step in which an inorganic dispersion is obtained by adding and mixing an inorganic powder, a polyvinyl acetal resin (A) and an organic solvent for an inorganic dispersion; a step in which a resin solution is obtained by adding and mixing a polyvinyl acetal resin (B) and an organic solvent for a resin solution; and a step in which the resin solution is added into the inorganic dispersion. The polyvinyl acetal resin (A) has a polymerization degree of 200-600, while the polyvinyl acetal resin (B) has a polymerization degree of 800-4,000. In the step of obtaining the inorganic dispersion, the polyvinyl acetal resin (A) is added in an amount of 0.1-20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the inorganic powder.
