Abstract:
The present invention provides: a method for producing a spherical silver powder, which is capable of easily producing a spherical silver powder that is suppressed in variation of the primary particle diameter in comparison to conventional spherical silver powders; and a spherical silver powder which is produced by this production method. A method for producing a spherical silver powder according to the present invention comprises a reduction precipitation step wherein silver particles are precipitated by reduction by mixing a reducing agent, which is composed of hydrazine carbonate, into an aqueous reaction system that contains silver ions.
