Abstract:
An electrocasting layer is formed on the mold surface having a generally circular shape when viewed from above, and a generally disc-like electrocast part (8) obtained by removing the electrocasting layer from the mold surface is cut into square pieces to produce one or a plurality of square electrocast products (9). A square electrocast product (9) having a generally uniform thickness can thereby be obtained while suppressing strain. Eighty or more percent of the area of the generally disc-like electrocast part (8) obtained by using the mold surface having a generally circular shape when viewed from above can be utilized for the square electrocast products (9), and the production yield of the square electrocast products(9) can be enhanced.
