Abstract:
The present invention provides a statistical copolymer which contains a chloroprene monomer unit and an unsaturated nitrile monomer unit, and which has good oil resistance. Provided is a method for producing a statistical copolymer containing a chloroprene monomer unit and an unsaturated nitrile monomer unit, which comprises a step for continuously adding chloroprene monomers or intermittently adding chloroprene monomers in 10 or more parts after the initiation of a polymerization reaction. A rubber composition which uses a statistical copolymer according to the present invention and a vulcanization molded body containing this rubber composition have excellent oil resistance, mechanical strength, compression set at low temperatures, and flex fatigue resistance.
