Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for producing a structural material, and the structural material, which are capable of ensuring enough strength of the structural material to efficiently perform the production thereof while suppressing the occurrence of wrinkles in a composite sheet even in a portion in which the structural material consisting of a composite material is three-dimensionally curved.
A narrow width prepreg sheet (20N) is pasted along ridge line sections (C), and a wide width prepreg sheet (20W) is pasted to the other portions, thereby pasting the wide width prepreg sheet (20W) with no cut in both side portions of the ridge line sections (C).
Furthermore, the narrow width prepreg sheet (20N) is divided into a plurality thereof and pasted in the axial direction in a portion in which a spar (10) is curved, and the length of the narrow width prepreg sheets (20N) is adjusted in accordance with the curvature radius of the curved portion in the axial direction of the spar (10), thereby easily dealing with variations in curvature radius.
