Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUBSTRATE HAVING HARD COAT LAYER CONTAINING FUNCTIONAL FINE PARTICLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/159909
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a substrate having a hard coat layer which has excellent wear resistance and in which the properties of functional fine particles can be maintained over a long period of time even under a severe usage environment. The method for producing a substrate having a hard coat layer is characterized in that: (1) a hard coat layer mainly composed of a resin is provided in a semi-cured state on a substrate such that equation (a) below is satisfied, (a) 12≤X≤600 (in the equation, X represents the time (sec) required for the (Δ) haze of a hard coat layer-attached glass to exceed 5% after the hard coat layer-attached glass, in which a semi-cured hard coat layer having a thickness of 10 µm is laminated on one surface of a float soda glass having a thickness of 3 mm, is immersed in an N-methyl pyrrolidone solvent at 40°C); (2) a dispersion in which functional fine particles are dispersed in a solvent satisfying equation (b) below is applied onto the semi-cured hard coat layer, (b) 12≤X×(A+0.2)2≤90 (in the equation, X is as defined in equation (a), and A represents the difference between the solubility parameter (MPa0.5) of the dispersion solvent and the solubility parameter (22.3MPa0.5) of the N-methyl pyrrolidone); and (3) the semi-cured hard coat layer is completely cured.
