Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for converting lignocellulosic biomass into sugars, comprising at least three steps. The first step is a step of cooking the lignocellulosic biomass in the presence of at least one hydrated inorganic salt as a mixture with at least one other metal salt. The second step is a step of separating at least one solid fraction having undergone the cooking step, and the third step is a step of enzymatic hydrolysis of said solid fraction so as to convert the polysaccharides into monosaccharides. The resulting sugars are then able to be fermented into alcohols.
