Abstract:
The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte, which is capable of producing a sulfide solid electrolyte having enhanced ion conductivity with use of a starting material that contains LiBr and LiI. The present invention is a method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte, which comprises: an introduction step for introducing a starting material for the production of a sulfide solid electrolyte into a container, said starting material being mainly composed of a substance represented by general formula (100 - x - y)(0.75Li2S·0.25P2S5)·xLiBr·yLiI (wherein x satisfies 0 < x < 100, y satisfies 0 < y < 100 and (x + y) satisfies 0 < (x + y) < 100); and an amorphization step for amorphizing the starting material after the introduction step. In the amorphization step, the temperature of the reaction field within the container is set to less than 170°C.
