Abstract:
This method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte includes a firing step for firing a raw material at a temperature of 300°C or higher in a hydrogen-sulfide-containing atmosphere, the raw material including Li2S having a purity of 50-90 mass% inclusive at the start of firing. The Li2S includes at least one from among LiOH, Li2H, LiHCO3, and Li2CO3 as an impurity. In the firing step, the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the hydrogen-sulfide-containing atmosphere is ideally 50 vol% or higher. The raw material preferably furthermore includes P2S5 and LiX (where X is at least one halogen element), and the the sulfide solid electrolyte preferably has an argyrodite crystal structure.
