Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for producing a compound (5a) represented by the following formula: (5a) (wherein A, R¹ and R² are as defined below) which is characterized by reacting a compound (3a) represented by the following formula: (3a) (wherein R¹ and R² independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C_1-4 alkyl group or the like) with a compound represented by the following formula: A-SO₂Cl (wherein A represents a cyanophenyl group or the like) in a mixed solvent of water and an acetic acid C_1-6 alkyl ester in the presence of a base.
