Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a super absorbent polymer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing a super absorbent polymer which has a high absorption rate and improved water retention capacity, the super absorbent polymer being produced through additional heat-treatment while using a thermally decomposable internal crosslinking agent and an encapsulated foaming agent together during polymerization.
