Abstract:
Provided is a carbon nano-structure which enables the preparation of a carbon nano-structure dispersion having an excellent dispersion stability. The method according to the present invention for producing a surface-treated carbon nano-structure comprises: a decompression treatment step for decompressing a carbon nano-structure-containing solution which comprises a carbon nano-structure and a dispersion medium; and a surface treatment step for, after or during the decompression treatment step, adding an oxidizing agent to the carbon nano-structure-containing solution and thus adjusting the surface oxygen atom content of the carbon nano-structure to 7.0 at% or greater. It is preferred that the carbon nano-structure contains a carbon nanotube.
