Abstract:
A thin sheet-shaped structure of graphite is produced by passing an electric current to an electrochemical reaction system including an anode including graphite, a cathode that may include graphite, and an electrolyte solution including tetrafluoroboric acid or hexafluorophosphoric acid as an electrolyte. Exfoliated graphite is produced by subjecting the thin sheet-shaped structure to a peeling operation.
