Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a three-dimensionally shaped structure wherein the following steps (i) and (ii) are repeated: (i) a step in which a predetermined portion of a powder layer is irradiated with a light beam so as to sinter or to melt and solidify the powder in the predetermined portion, thereby forming a solidified layer; and (ii) a step in which a new powder layer is formed on the thus-obtained solidified layer and a predetermined portion of the new powder layer is irradiated with a light beam, thereby forming another solidified layer. The method for producing a three-dimensionally shaped structure is characterized in that a low density solidified region is formed in a part of the surface region of the three-dimensionally shaped structure and the solidification density of the low density solidified region is set to 50-90% so that application of a pressure can be carried out by a gas that passes through the low density solidified region.
