Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing transparent porous films, wherein said method can produce, by spray coating, a transparent porous film that exhibits an excellent transparency and an excellent thickness precision. The method for producing a transparent porous film according to embodiments of the present invention comprises a step for forming a coating film by spray coating a substrate with a transparent porosity-forming coating material that contains particles and a dispersion medium in which the particles are dispersed, wherein the solids concentration change ratio satisfies formula (1). (1): 1.3 ≤ solids concentration change ratio ≤ 60
(In formula (1), the solids concentration change ratio represents the solids concentration in the coating film at 10 seconds after spray coating, relative to the solids concentration in the transparent porosity-forming coating material prior to spray coating.)
