Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing an unsaturated aminocarboxylic acid derivative, which is useful as a pharmaceutical raw material, at low cost.  Specifically, an unsaturated aminocarboxylic acid derivative is produced by hydrolyzing an unsaturated aminonitrile derivative.  The unsaturated aminonitrile derivative can be obtained, for example, by reacting an unsaturated aldehyde with a cyanogen compound and an ammonia compound.  In addition, an optically active unsaturated aminocarboxylic acid derivative can be easily obtained from the unsaturated aminocarboxylic acid derivative via an unsaturated N-acylaminocarboxylic acid derivative.  Consequently, an optically active unsaturated aminocarboxylic acid derivative can be easily produced at low cost.
