Abstract:
By reacting unsaturated aminodiols represented by the general formula (I) below with olefins represented by the general formula (II) below in the presence of a metathesis catalyst, unsaturated aminodiols which are useful as raw material for synthesizing sphingomyelin or the like effective for drug delivery systems or the like can be produced simply by a highly versatile process.
