Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing an unsaturated hydrocarbon by performing a dehydrogenation reaction of a hydrocarbon, while supplying ethylene as a receptor for produced hydrogen, by which an unsaturated hydrocarbon is produced with a high yield for a long period of time, while minimizing loss of the ethylene.
[Solution] A method for producing an unsaturated hydrocarbon by performing a dehydrogenation reaction of a hydrocarbon within a reactor which has a first reaction region, a second reaction region that is provided in the downstream of the first reaction region, and a connection region that connects the first reaction region and the second reaction region with each other. This method for producing an unsaturated hydrocarbon comprises: a step wherein a starting material-containing gas, which contains a hydrocarbon, is supplied to the first reaction region and a dehydrogenation reaction of the hydrocarbon is performed, thereby obtaining a primary product gas; and a step wherein ethylene is mixed with the primary product gas in the connection region and the thus-obtained mixed gas is supplied to the second reaction region, thereby performing a dehydrogenation reaction of the hydrocarbon and a reaction for producing ethane by adding hydrogen to the ethylene.
