Title:
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE FUEL CELLS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2000008701
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The high-temperature fuel cell has a contact layer (16) disposed between the cathode (14) and a bipolar plate (18). During production of the contact layer (16), a contact material is applied on the bipolar plate (18), which may be fitted with a ceramic protective layer (22). Said material is then exposed to a high temperature, especially above 800 DEG C. In order to ensure high deformability of the ceramic contact layer (16), a pore-forming material, e.g. a granular plastic or a fine particle carbon, is added to the contact material before application.
