Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for protecting metal conduits used for transporting natural gas, especially wet natural gases containing carbon dioxide and/or hydrogen sulphide, against internal corrosion on the inner surfaces of said pipes. According to the inventive method, anti-corrosive protective agents containing at least one corrosion-inhibiting active substance are introduced into the conduits. The composition of the base liquid inside the conduits is modified by the anti-corrosion protective agents in such a way that at least one part of the base liquid containing the corrosion-inhibiting active substance is disseminated along the entire inner surfaces of the pipe.
