Abstract:
In one embodiment, disclosed are a display and an electronic device, which includes a processor electrically connected to the display. The processor detects a designated event and confirms text to be outputted to the display and a font applied to the text in response to the detection of the designated event, the text includes a plurality of characters, the animation effect to be applied to the text is determined on the basis of the font, and, when the animation effect is applied, the processor is configured to display each of the plurality of characters during the designated period along a path corresponding to the shapes of the characters from a start point to an end point of each of the plurality of characters, and can be configured to display the text, to which the animation effect is applied, on the display during the designated period in response to the detection of the designated event.
