Abstract:
Provided is a method for providing diagnostic information whereby an ordinary person can conveniently self-diagnose cardiovascular disease using a smart device, and a cardiac sound application for same. The method for providing diagnostic information comprises: converting a plurality of sample cardiac sound data inputted from the outside into image data wherein the heart sound amplitude is visualized as time and frequency change; and using a convolutional neural network (CNN) learning that an image object corresponding to a heart sound out of the image data of the sample heart sound data is one of a plurality of predefined heart sound patterns; a heart sound of a patient to be diagnosed is directly recorded and the recorded patient heart sound data is converted to image data wherein the heart sound amplitude is visualized as time and frequency change; and a step wherein a convolutional neural network is used to classify an image object corresponding to a heart sound from image data of the patient heart sound data as one of the heart sound patterns.
