Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for providing a cellulose fiber product with a fray-stopping function relatively easily without requiring combined use with a different, non-cellulose material; and a cellulose fiber product provided with a fray-stopping function. The present invention is a method for providing a cellulose fiber product with a fray-stopping function that is characterized by comprising: a dissolving step for dissolving the surface of cellulose fibers that constitute the cellulose fiber product using a dissolving solution; and a self-bonding step after the dissolving step for effecting self-bonding between the cellulose fibers constituting the cellulose fiber product.
