Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for providing a customized in-flight multimedia content service, according to which, a consumer can simply select and input an in-flight multimedia content service item and then be provided with an in-flight multimedia service of the customer's choice via an on-board multimedia display device. Accordingly, the invention can significantly alleviate the boredom and fatigue of being on a long flight and can further enable an airline to provide the customers with a differentiated service and, at the same time, reduce aircraft operating costs and create a business model for making an additional profit from the provision of the in-flight multimedia content service.
