Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing a service, which enables a user to search a patent document on the basis of a preset search area, and a server for providing the service. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for providing a customized search area setting service and a server for same, the method in which a plurality of searchable fields, in which a keyword search can be performed, in a patent document are displayed for a user, the user can select a field in which a keyword search is to be performed, and the selected field is matched to a user account and stored. Therefore, a patent document can be searched on the basis of the field selected by the user when using a search service thereafter.
