Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/135901
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for providing an anti-dazzle headlight for a motor vehicle travelling on a lane (2). A dimmed light distribution (10, 14) with a light-dark boundary (12) which runs horizontally in at least some sections is emitted, and a field of view is monitored using an image capturing device (56), the presence and position of traffic participants (28) in the field of view being detected. In order to prevent dazzling, a detection device (58) detects whether moisture is present on the lane (2), and if moisture is detected on the lane (2) and a traffic participant (28) is detected in the field of view, then a masked zone (16') which is assigned to the detected traffic participant (28) is generated in the dimmed light distribution (14). The invention also relates to an illuminating device (40) for a motor vehicle.
