Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing information for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease dementia (ADD) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and a medical image processing system, wherein the accuracy of diagnosing ADD and MCI can be increased through a model that combines SAVR, which is medial temporal volume divided by cerebellar volume, and MMSE and is based on the excellent performance of SAVR in diagnosing ADD and MCI. In addition, the present invention has the advantage that Quick Brain Volumetry (QBraVo), an automated analysis program which can rapidly and accurately measure brain volume, can be used to effectively distinguish ADD and MCI patients from normal controls (NCs).
