Disclosed are a method for providing product information by using a video and a management server used therefor. The present invention is implemented through the steps, performed by a management server, of: receiving, from a user terminal, a request for posting product information corresponding to a specific scene of a video provided through the management server; when a product purchase has been made on the basis of the product information, receiving product purchase information from a shopping mall server which has sold the product; and determining compensation for a user who posted the product information on the basis of the product purchase information. The present invention minimizes the reluctance of viewers toward an advertisement using a video as a medium, thereby maximizing the effect of the advertisement. In addition, the present invention can support an immediate purchase of a product which has attracted attention during the watching of a video. In addition, according to the present invention, the user can induce a purchaser to purchase a product by registering pin product information in a video selected by the user, and thereafter, a predetermined commission can be distributed to the user when the purchaser purchases the product.
