Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for providing a service for finding a lost item by means of a messenger application program, in which, according to the present invention, a service-providing server connects to a user account of a messenger application and stores a unique code of the user, and when the unique code provided on a found item is received from a terminal of a finder by means of the messenger application, a lost item notification is transmitted by means of the user account linked to the unique code, and a chatting service of the messenger application is provided to the user and the finder so as to allow an immediate contact therebetween, thus the present invention is economical as a platform of a messenger application having a large number of users is utilized, obviating the creation of a separate system, and the present invention can improve the actual return rate of lost items.
