Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for providing a service in an edge network system, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting, to a first access point by a terminal, a service request message including a name of a service desired to be received, in an edge network system including multiple access points; transmitting, to the terminal by the first access point, a service request response message including a service performance prediction time and data for authentication; performing authentication between the terminal and the first access point during the service performance prediction time on the basis of the data for authentication; and providing a content corresponding to the service request message to the terminal by the first access point when the authentication between the terminal and the first access point succeeds.
