Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing a video search user interface utilizing thumbnails and a device therefor. The method comprises the steps of: sequentially displaying a plurality of thumbnail images at a preset spatial interval, time interval or the combination thereof on a certain portion of a video display screen; analyzing a motion of a user for searching for videos from a specific input applied to the plurality of displayed thumbnail images or a playback image; calculating a spatial interval, time interval or the combination thereof of a plurality of thumbnail images to be newly displayed according to the analyzed motion; and newly displaying the plurality of thumbnail images by using the calculated spatial interval, time interval, or the combination thereof.
