Title:
METHOD FOR PROVIDING VIRTUAL SPACE, PROGRAM FOR CAUSING COMPUTER TO IMPLEMENT SAID METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING VIRTUAL SPACE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/213218
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a technology for reducing video sickness (VR sickness) during the provision of a virtual reality. A process executed by a processor of a virtual reality providing computer comprises: a step (S1010) of defining a virtual space in a memory; a step (S1020) of detecting the movement of a user wearing a HMD device; a step (S1030) of determining the flying direction of an object flying in the virtual space on the basis of the movement of the user; a step (S1040) of generating field of view image data for causing the HMD device to display a field of view image so that the user's field of view in the virtual space moves in the flying direction, and causing a monitor to display the field of view image on the basis of the generated field of view image data; and a step (S1060) of, if the object has reached an object of interest in the virtual space (YES in step S1050), causing the position of the virtual user to be moved to the object of interest at high speed.
