Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing web content from a broadcast receiving apparatus, and to a broadcast receiving apparatus for providing web content. A method for providing web content, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is a method for providing web content from a broadcast receiving apparatus and comprises the steps of: receiving, from a web server connected via a network, a webpage including text and images, wherein the text includes main text and sub-text, and the images include at least one main image and at least one sub-image; extracting mthe ain text and at least one main image included in the webpage by analyzing the webpage; displaying the at least one main image on a first area of a screen; and displaying the main text on a second area of the screen.
