Abstract:
A method for provisioning the parameters of a terminal, a system thereof, and a terminal management device are disclosed. The method includes: an Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Device Management (DM) server receives the terminal information and the parameter information for the provisioning required by the terminal, sent by a trustable OMA Client Provisioning (CP) server, and sends the parameter information to the OMA DM client in the terminal according to the terminal information; the OMA DM client sends the parameter information to the OMA CP client in the terminal; the OMA CP client implements the provisioning according to the parameter information. With this invention, the problem that the OMA CP can not be transitioned smoothly to the OMA DM in the relevant art has been solved, and thus various faults caused by the operator's switchover among provisioning methods are avoided.
