Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] To provide a method of performing appropriate pulverization drying, etc. of raw material, etc. with the use of a pulse combustor, and provide an apparatus for use in the method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Pulverization drying apparatus (10) includes pulse combustor (pulse engine) (1) and, disposed in the vicinity of exit of exhaust pipe (1b) thereof, material inputting pipe (2). The pulse combustor (1) generates in the vicinity of exit thereof a pulse combustion jet of 60 to 1000 Hz frequency, 140 to 180 dB sound pressure and 50° to 600°C temperature, into which droplets containing a material as processing object are fedthroughthe material inputting pipe (2).
