Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for the purification of an oligopeptide, which comprises the step of contacting a solution containing the oligopeptide and a neutral amino acid with an ion exchange resin at a pH value falling within an effective pH range. The method may comprises the steps of: (a) passing a solution containing the oligopeptide and the neutral amino acid through a column filled with an ion exchange resin; and (b) eluting the oligopeptide that has contacted with the ion exchange resin with an elution solvent. In the method, a weakly acidic cation exchange resin or a weakly basic anion exchange resin may be used.
