Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for purifying an antibody, which comprises separation of an antibody and an HCP from each other by bringing a solution that contains the antibody and the HCP into contact with a chromatography carrier, and wherein: the chromatography carrier comprises a base carrier containing porous particles and a compound having a plurality of primary amino groups bonded to the base carrier; 20-55% of the primary amino groups in the compound having a plurality of primary amino groups are modified with hydrophobic groups; the recovery rate of the antibody is 85% or more; and the amount of the HCP in the antibody solution after the purification is less than 45 ppm.
