Abstract:
Provided is a method for purifying a substance, which includes: a step for preparing a solution that contains a solvent and one or more substances selected from a compound represented by formula (1A) and a resin having a structure represented by formula (2A); and a step for purifying the solution by passing the solution through a filter. (In formula (1A), X is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a single bond, or is uncrosslinked, Ra is a 2n-valent group having 1-40 carbon atoms or is a single bond, the Rb moieties are each independently a variety of functional groups, the values of m are each independently an integer between 0 and 9, n is an integer between 1 and 4, and the values of p are each independently an integer between 0 and 2. Here, at least one Rb moiety is a group that includes one type selected from among a hydroxyl group and a thiol group, and it is not possible for all instances of m to be 0 at the same time.)
